Nixy and the Seeds of Doom (Commodore 64)
A downloadable game
Andy Johns and I have started working together on bringing Nixy and the Seeds of Doom to C64!
Join Nixy once again as she embarks on a quest to find the source of the corruption threatening her home in the Glade. Explore mysterious caverns and crumbling castle ruins while avoiding ghouls, knights and other obstacles as she searches for clues to aid her in her quest!
You can check out the original ZX Spectrum game here.
The C64 version will feature a few improvements over the original ZX Spectrum game:
- Improved graphics
- Improved sprites and animations
- A map
- And more!
I will be posting frequent development logs and updating you on the progress. You can read them below and stay up to date with the progress.

The first preview is available for download! It contains the first 10 screens of the game. It doesn't have any music or sound effects yet, instead it probably has bugs. I hope you will enjoy it!

I am looking forward to this sequel as I am enjoying the first game, I am currently playing. @5x years old, my reactions are not as good as they used to be. Finding it hard but enjoyable. Wonderful to see games still being written for the c64. I am getting more enjoyment playing these new c64 games than playing modern games on my PS5. Please keep up the fantastic work!
